Travel Living

Travel Living is located in Jawahar Nagar. We are right opposite the Gurduwara. It’s a landmark so people don’t usually get lost trying to find us. The area is quite lively. We can hear the sounds from the street all day. Inside our office, things are a bit cluttered. We have brochures from years ago that we should probably throw away. There are two desks and a few chairs for people to sit. We spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the line cuts out and we have to call back. It’s just how it goes here. We have a small rug on the floor that’s seen better days. We aren't really into making the place look like a showroom. It’s a workplace. We have a calendar on the wall with lots of circles and notes. Sometimes we forget to change the month until a few days in. The tea man comes by twice a day. That’s usually when we take a break. We’ve been across from the Gurduwara for a long time. We know the shopkeepers nearby. We help people with their trips and then they tell their friends about us. It’s a simple way to do things. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just stay open and talk to whoever comes through the door. It is a quiet life but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on.
