Vikash Fly Ash Bricks Ltd.

We are over in Kunkuri, located in Ward Number 12. It is a fairly quiet part of town, situated right near the Government Guest House. You might see the big trucks turning in there sometimes when officials are visiting. We do fly ash bricks here at Vikash Fly Ash Bricks Ltd. It is a bit different from the traditional clay ones you see in the villages. We have a few machines that do most of the heavy pressing and shaping. The place can get a bit grey with all the ash, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. My name is on the registration papers but it is really a team effort with the local workers who have been with me for years. We start very early when the air is still cool and the birds are out. The guest house nearby means we have to keep the noise down at certain times, which we try to respect. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones professionally. We just talk to the people who walk into the yard. Kunkuri is a nice place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have been here at this post for some time now. The fly ash comes in from the plants and we turn it into something useful for building. It is honest work and we just take it one day at a time.
