Jaldega Agro Producer Company Limited is located at Shahid’s place in Khairam Toli. The address on our documents looks a bit strange with all those letters like Kh/Kjkh/Kj and the zero at the end, but if you are from around here, you know where Khairam Toli is. We are in the Jaldega area and we spend most of our time working with the local growers. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our ledgers and some basic tools for weighing the crops. It is not a polished or professional-looking space. There is usually dirt on the floor and the smell of grain in the air. We don't have any computers or fancy technology. We do everything by hand and on paper. Most of our days are spent moving bags of produce and talking to the farmers about their harvest. It is heavy work and we are often tired by the time the sun sets. We don't have any slogans or big corporate goals. We are just a group of people from the village trying to make sure our neighbors can sell what they grow. Sometimes the rains are so heavy that the roads are washed out, and we have to wait for the water to go down. That is just part of the life in Jaldega. We don't use any marketing speak or try to impress anyone. We just do our jobs and try to be fair with everyone who comes through our door.
