You can find us at Hno 12-30/1 in Ragampet. This part of Kothur in Khanapur Mandalam is where we’ve all spent most of our lives. Veerabhadra Swamy Farmer Producer Company Limited was put together by local folks who know the soil here in Warangal Rural. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy building. It’s just an old house where we keep the books and meet up. Usually, there’s a lot of tea drinking and talking about why the seeds didn't take or when the trucks are coming. The road out here to Ragampet isn't always the best, especially when it rains hard, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some big national corporation. We just wanted a way for the farmers in this mandal to have a bit more say in what happens to their produce. It’s hard work and the sun can be brutal out here in Telangana. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than in the office, so the paperwork usually piles up until someone finally sits down to deal with it. It’s a group effort, really. We’ve got neighbors and cousins all involved. We just take things one day at a time and hope the weather stays on our side. It’s a quiet life, mostly, without any of that corporate polish. We just focus on the harvest and making sure everyone gets their fair share.
