Chasi Bhai Farmers Producer Company Limited

Starting out in Kourkonda wasn't easy, but we've been here at Ward No. 11 for a while now. Chasi Bhai Farmers Producer Company Limited is really just a bunch of us locals trying to handle our farming work together. You can find us over at Chakradhara Rudrakha's place. It’s where most of the meetings happen when we need to figure out what seeds to get or how to manage the harvest this year. Farming around here in the Korkonda area has its ups and downs with the weather and all, so sticking together helps us get things done better than if we were just working on our own small plots. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the space we use to keep the records and talk to the other farmers. It gets busy during the planting season, and sometimes things get a bit messy with all the paperwork, but we manage. Most of the people here have known each other for years. We just want to make sure the crops get sold and everyone gets a fair deal for their hard work. If you're walking through the village, you’ll likely see some of us standing around talking about the rain or the price of supplies. It's a simple operation, really. We just focus on the day-to-day work of being farmers and looking after what we grow. It is a slow process, but we keep at it every single season.
