Dharmpal Spices & Foods (Opc) Privatelimited

We are located in the Panro village area, specifically in Tola Panch, which is part of the Barhat block in Jamui. My name is Dharmpal and this is our small business for spices and different food items. It is a quiet place out here, mostly surrounded by fields. We started this because we wanted to do something locally instead of going to the big cities for jobs. The work is mostly grinding down the raw spices we get from the local farmers and then packing them into bags. It is a very dusty job and we usually end up covered in yellow turmeric powder by the end of the day. The building we work out of isn't anything special, just a basic structure with enough room for our machines. We have a few people from the village who come in to help us with the cleaning and sorting. Sometimes the electricity cuts out in the middle of a job, and we just have to sit around and wait for it to come back. We don't have a big office or fancy chairs. Most of the paperwork gets done on a wooden table in the corner. We are just trying to make a living and provide something useful for the markets around here. It is hard work and the hours are long, but we like being in our own village. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just hope the quality of the spices speaks for itself when people cook with them.
