Bless International School

Bless International School sits right along the NH-31 in Makhar, over in the Nawada district. Being so close to the highway means we hear the trucks and buses going by all day long, but you sort of get used to the hum after a while. We aren't a fancy institution with a lot of polished talk. We’re just a bunch of people running a school in a part of Bihar that doesn't always get the most attention. The school is a sturdy place, built to last and to give the kids a safe spot to spend their time. We spend our days dealing with the usual stuff like making sure the chalk doesn’t run out and that the playground is clear of stones. The weather here can be tough, with really hot summers and some heavy rains that make the highway look like a river, but we keep the doors open. We don’t have a marketing department; we just have a few people who handle the phones and talk to the parents when they drop off their children. It’s a very practical environment. We focus on the basics of keeping the classrooms clean and the schedules on time. It feels like a small family here sometimes because we see the same faces every single day. We’re just a part of the landscape on the NH-31, doing the best we can every single day.
