Telcon

Our place is at K-3/43 on H S Road in the Telco Colony area of Jamshedpur. The name of the company is Telcon. If you live around Jamshedpur, you know that this area is very tied to the big industries here. We have been at this address for a long time. The colony is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the street names and the block numbers. We work out of a building that is pretty standard for this part of the city. It’s not a corporate office with shiny floors. Most of the time, there is a bit of industrial grime on the windows and the desks are piled high with manuals and ledgers. Jamshedpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so we have the fans going at full speed just to stay comfortable. We don't really have a big staff. It is just a few local people who know the business well. We spend our days dealing with various industrial tasks and talking to people who stop by the office. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't use any complicated systems or have big meetings. We just look at what needs to be done that day and we do it. It is a steady life here on H S Road, and we are happy to be part of the local community.
