Hi-Tech Earth Movers

We are situated right on N-H-33 in Pardih, directly across from the telephone exchange. It is a good landmark because everyone around here knows where the exchange is. Hi-Tech Earth Movers is a simple operation where we keep our tractors and earth-moving equipment parked out front. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust blowing in from the passing trucks, so there is a constant layer of grit on everything we own. The yard is usually a bit of a scramble of parts and tools, especially when we are in the middle of a big repair. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. The work is mostly outdoors, and in Pardih, that means dealing with whatever the weather throws at us, whether it is the pouring rain or the blazing sun. We focus on getting the machines to the sites where they are needed and making sure they don't break down halfway through a job. The engines are loud and the work is heavy, but that is just the nature of earth moving. We have some regulars who stop by for a chat or to ask about a project, and we just keep things informal. There is no script here, just a bunch of people who know how to operate heavy gear and want to get through the day's tasks without too much trouble.
