Narayan Lal & Co. is based in Bistupur, right near the Tisco N Gate. Being so close to the Tata Iron Steel Company Ltd means we are right in the heart of the industrial side of things. You can always feel the hum of the big plant nearby. We have been in this spot for a long time, watching the city grow and change around the steel works. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We handle a variety of business needs that tie into the local industry. It’s a place where handshakes still mean something to the older generation. We don't use much in the way of high-tech gadgets, just some old desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. The air around Bistupur is always thick with the smell of industry, and we are used to the noise of the heavy machinery and the trucks. Most of our visitors are people we have known for decades. We sit down, have some tea, and talk about the business at hand. It is not a fast-paced corporate environment. We take our time to make sure things are done correctly. Narayan Lal & Co. is just a steady, local fixture in Jamshedpur. We open the doors every morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple life, being part of the history of this steel town, and we wouldn't have it any other way at all.
