28 Downtown Cafe

28 Downtown Cafe is located right on B Road in the Air Base Colony area of Kadma. We’re pretty close to Bramhanand Dham, so it’s easy for people in Jamshedpur to find us. We wanted to create a place where people could just hang out for a bit. It’s not a big corporate chain; it’s just a local cafe where the coffee is hot and the seats are usually available. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or the air conditioning is a little too cold, but we're working on those things. We see a lot of younger folks from the colony coming in to sit with their laptops or just talk. It’s a nice change of pace from the busier parts of the city. The staff here are mostly local guys and girls who live nearby. We don't have a massive kitchen, so our menu is quite simple. We try to keep everything fresh and served as quickly as we can. Some days are slow and we just sit around chatting with the regulars, which is actually one of the favorite parts of the job. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. If you’re ever walking around Kadma and need a place to rest your feet, we're right here at number 28. It’s a quiet enough street.
