Uno Child Hospital

You will find our hospital on the first floor of the Sampann Building. We are right on the main road in the Ranjitnagar area of Jamnagar, directly opposite the S.T. Bus Depot. Because of the bus station right there, the street outside is always noisy and full of people, but once you come up to the first floor, it is a bit more contained. This is a hospital for children, so we see kids of all ages all day long. We have decorated the walls with some simple stickers and drawings to try and make the place feel a little less intimidating for the little ones who are scared of doctors. The waiting room usually has a few toys and books scattered around, and honestly, it can get a bit messy when we are busy. The doctors and nurses here are used to the noise and the occasional crying. We handle the common things like fevers, bad coughs, and the regular vaccinations that kids need. Being so close to the bus depot is very helpful for families who are traveling in from the smaller villages nearby. The stairs leading up to our floor are a little bit steep, so parents usually have to be careful with the strollers. We are a small team and we do our best to stay organized even when the waiting room is full. We stay open until late because children always seem to feel worse in the evening. It is just a plain, local place for kids.
