Our space is right here at 120 in the housing complex flat within the Tata Chemicals Township in Mithapur. It feels more like a home than an office because, well, it actually is a flat. You can see the other housing blocks from the window, and there is usually some laundry hanging out or kids playing downstairs when school is out. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist, you just come to the door and knock. We deal with the day-to-day stuff for Tata Chemicals Ltd from this little corner of Gujarat. Sometimes the power flickers or the water schedule is the main topic of conversation in the hallway, but that is just part of living and working in a township.
