Super Trader

You can find us near the Pancheshwar Tower Chowk in Kalavad. The place is called Darbargadh Poshina. It’s right in the middle of the action in this part of Jamnagar district. We trade in all sorts of things. Whatever the local market seems to need, we try to source it. It's a busy life being a trader here. My son helps me with the accounts. The building is old and has a lot of character, but the roof leaks a tiny bit when it really pours. We should probably get that fixed soon. There’s always a lot of noise from the street, tractors passing by and people shouting. It’s a lively place to work. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that. We just buy things and sell them. It’s how my father did it and how I do it now. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to find the right stock. The shop is usually full of different bags and crates. It’s not the neatest place you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. If a customer comes in looking for something specific, we usually have a good idea if it’s in the pile. We take things one day at a time. It’s a solid way to make a living in Kalavad. We don't bother with fancy displays. People just come in and ask for what they need and we settle on a price.
