Bhatiya Impex

You can find Bhatiya Impex at Topan Square in the middle of Kansara Bazar. It’s right on Mandvi Tower Road which is always a busy place to be. There are so many shops and people around that it’s never really quiet. The market energy is something we’ve grown used to over the years. Our office is right in the thick of it. We have to navigate through the crowds every morning just to get to the door. Inside Topan Square it is a bit more shaded and cool. Our space is filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes the spices from the market outside. We have metal desks and a lot of old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. Bhatiya Impex deals with a lot of different things so there are always samples lying around on the tables. We spend a lot of our day talking to people who walk in or calling up vendors. The Mandvi Tower is a good landmark to tell people when they are looking for us. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and a calendar. The floors are made of stone and they stay cool in the heat. It’s a practical workspace for a practical business. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the daily ledger. It’s just how things are done here in Kansara Bazar. We’ve been part of this street for a long time and know it well.
