We spend most of our time here at the A. K. Jamal Building on Guru Nanak Road. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming through this part of town. The Indian Institute Of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences isn’t a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. We focus on the practical side of Ayurvedic medicines. Most days, you’ll find us busy with paperwork or talking to students who want to learn how to make these traditional products properly. It’s hard work and the building can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. Being located in the A. K. Jamal Building makes it easy for people to find us once they get onto Guru Nanak Road. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors know us well. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just about teaching and making sure the next batch of pharmacists knows what they’re doing with herbs and minerals. We have rooms set up for different tasks, and things can get a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a project. That’s just the nature of this kind of work. People stop by to ask questions about courses or just to see what’s going on in the lab. We try to be helpful without making a big fuss about it. If you’re ever walking down Guru Nanak Road, you’ll see our sign right there by the entrance. It's an honest place where real work happens every single day.
