Computonics

Computonics is tucked away in the Mithapur ‘B’ Area. We are located near the Puranderpur Post Office, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find our door. We share the space with Prof. B.K. Guha’s place. It is a quiet enough part of town, though it gets a bit busy around the post office during the morning hours. We started out because we liked tinkering with computers and electronics. It was never meant to be a big corporate office. Just a small room filled with parts, screens, and cables lying everywhere. Sometimes it looks like a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. People from all around Mithapur come to us when their machines start acting up or won't turn on. We do not use any big words to explain the technical stuff. If a computer is broken, we try to fix it. That is about it. It is a local operation, and we like it that way. Prof. Guha has been here a long time, and being associated with him has helped us get to know the neighbors. We are not doing any big advertising or marketing. Word of mouth usually brings people in. If you have a problem with your tech, you can just stop by and we can take a look. It might take us a day or two to get to things, depending on how many machines are on the bench. We just do the work and hope it helps someone out. It is a simple life for us here in Mithapur.
