The Mystic India

The Mystic India is our little spot at No. 196 in Rehari Colony. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, so we don't get huge crowds, but we have our steady flow of visitors. The shop is filled with a bit of everything—textiles, some small brass items, and various things we’ve picked up to sell. It’s not the most organized layout, to be honest. We just put things where they fit on the shelves. The front window gets a lot of sun in the morning, which makes the colors of the fabrics look nice, though we have to be careful they don't fade. I usually sit near the door and watch the neighborhood kids go by on their way to school. Rehari Colony is a nice place to be based. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, and the building itself is showing its age a bit with some cracks in the plaster. We don't go in for big promotions or loud music to attract people. Usually, someone just pops their head in because they were walking the dog or visiting a neighbor and saw something interesting in the window. We keep the kettle going for tea and talk about the weather or local news with whoever stops by. It’s a slow pace of life here, and that suits us just fine.
