My name is part of SYED BUILDERS PRIVATE LIMITED and we are based out of Uri. Specifically, you can find us at House No. 754571, in Ward No 1. We are right there in Saidpur, Parampati, over in the Paran Pillan area of Baramulla. It’s a bit of a long address but that’s where we’ve always been. Being in Jammu & Kashmir, especially in a place like Uri, means you have to be tough and ready for any kind of weather. We do building work for the community here. Most of our guys grew up around these parts, so we aren't strangers to anyone. We don’t have a flashy storefront or a big marketing team. It’s just us working out of the house and making sure the construction projects get finished. Sometimes we are working in Baramulla town and other times we are further out in the villages. The roads can be tricky, especially in the winter, but we’ve got our own trucks and we know the shortcuts. People know they can find us at the house if they need to talk about a new project or a repair. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not about being the most famous builders, it’s about making sure the roofs don’t leak and the walls stay straight. We’ve been around for a while now and plan to stay. If you’re in Ward No 1, you’ve probably seen us around. We’re just local people building for other people.
