Our shop is right in Trikuta Nagar, not far from the railway station. If you’re heading toward the Hanuman Temple, you’ll probably see us. Being near the station means we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are just passing through and need a quick snack or a bottle of water, while others are neighbors who come in for their weekly groceries. It gets pretty busy when a train arrives, and we have to move fast to help everyone. The shelves are packed with all kinds of things—soap, flour, spices, and whatever else people might need for their homes. I try to keep everything in its place, but with so many items, it’s a constant job. The sounds of the temple bells and the train whistles are just part of the background here. Sometimes we run out of something popular, and I have to make a note to get more from the distributor the next day. It’s a small space, so you have to watch your step. My family helps out during the busy hours, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We don’t have a fancy display or bright lights, just the essentials and a bit of conversation for anyone who isn’t in too much of a rush.
