Shah I Hamdan Provisional Store is right here at the Chowk in Qamarwari. It’s been a while since we started this place in Srinagar. Mostly, people from around the neighborhood stop by when they need something quick for the kitchen. We keep the usual things like rice, cooking oil, and those big packets of tea everyone likes. Sometimes the weather gets a bit rough in winter, and the shop gets a bit cold, but we stay open as much as we can. It is not a very big space, just a regular store where you can find what you need without much fuss. Usually, the mornings are quiet, then it picks up when people are heading home. We have seen kids grow up coming here to buy small snacks, and now they come for their own houses. It is just a part of the daily routine here in Srinagar.
