Ranjeet Outdoor Advertising

Our place is over at 1A Extension in Gandhinagar. If you know where the Gurudwara is, you’ve probably passed us plenty of times without thinking much about it. Ranjeet Outdoor Advertising is basically just a small crew of us trying to keep up with all the boards and signs people need for their businesses. It’s a busy area and sometimes the parking out front is a real headache, but we make do with what we have. We’ve got stacks of frames and vinyl tucked into the corners of the office. It’s not the most organized looking place, I’ll admit that. There’s usually a pot of tea going and someone arguing about where a ladder went or whose turn it is to go out. We spend most of our time out on the road anyway, putting things up or fixing stuff that the wind knocked over. Being near the Gurudwara is nice because it’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don't have to give long directions on the phone. We started this because we knew how to handle the heavy stuff and the printing machines. It’s hard work, especially when it’s raining or too hot to stand on a roof. We just take it one job at a time and try to stay busy. Some days are slow and we just sit around checking the equipment, and other days we can't even find time to eat lunch. That’s just how it goes here in Gandhinagar.
