Khan & Company

Up here in Ananthnag, you can find Khan & Company in the Green Colony area of Janglat Mandi. We’ve been part of this community for a while. It’s a decent place to work. We don't do anything too flashy here. We just focus on our day-to-day business. The office is small and usually has a few people coming in and out to chat or talk about business. We handle different things depending on what's needed in the market. It’s not a huge corporation with a lot of rules. We just work together and get things done. Some days it is quiet and we just organize the files or tidy up the yard. Other days it’s hectic and everyone is on the phone at once. We like being in Green Colony because it’s a bit more relaxed than the very center of town. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on word of mouth. If someone likes what we do, they tell their neighbor. That’s how we’ve grown over the years. It’s just us trying to make a living and providing what we can to the local folks. If you're in the area, you'll probably see us around. We’re just regular people doing regular work. No more, no less.
