Hotel Jammu Ashok

We are located right across from Amar Mahal here in Jammu. Most people know the spot because the palace is right there and it’s a big landmark for the area. We’ve been at this address on P.B. 60 for quite some time now. It’s not a complicated place to find once you get into the 180001 zip code area. We just go about our business every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much because everyone is heading toward the palace or coming from the main part of town, but that’s just how it is. We have our staff who have been with us for years. They know the building inside and out. It’s a sturdy place. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. People usually just find us because they are visiting the museum or have work nearby. The rooms are what they are, and we try to keep things clean and functional. It’s a lot of work keeping an old building running but we manage. You can see the greenery around the palace from some of the windows. It’s a decent view if you like looking at old brickwork and trees. We open the doors early and stay busy until late at night. There’s always someone around if you need to ask about directions or where to get a bite to eat in the neighborhood. We just try to keep things simple here at Hotel Jammu Ashok.
