We are situated at Hno 3 in Pacci Dhakki, right here in Jammu. It’s a local office where we handle all sorts of financial matters. The building is an older one, which gives it a bit of character, I suppose. We don't have any of those big glass windows or shiny signs you see in the city centers. It’s a bit more modest than that. Inside, it’s mostly just us working at our desks with the sound of the street coming through the windows. Dealing with money and finances requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep things quiet, even if the neighborhood isn't. We have a lot of files stored in old metal cabinets. We don't really use much in the way of high-tech gadgets, just standard computers and calculators. People from around Jammu come in to talk about their accounts or ask questions about things they don't understand. We sit down and go through the details one by one. There’s no rush. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but otherwise, we are pretty much at our desks from morning until evening. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for years. We don't see any reason to change how we operate just to look more modern. As long as the records are right, we are happy.
