You can find Ajay Plastic at Shop No-9 in Lakhdata Bazar. We’re really close to the railway station, so there’s a constant stream of people passing by our door all day long. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. There are stacks of plastic goods everywhere you look, from containers to household items. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than a couple of customers inside at once. We’ve been in Lakhdata Bazar for years, and we’ve seen the shops around us change hands many times. We stay here because the location is good, even if the noise from the trains can be a bit much sometimes. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking in or calling our landline. Most of our day is spent unloading deliveries and helping people find specific sizes of buckets or crates. It’s a very local business. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been buying from us since they were kids. We don't try to be fancy. The shelves are a bit crooked and the floor is worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. But it’s a good shop and we enjoy being part of the market life. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by.
