Sanai Tea Blending & Packaging Private Limited is over in Manipur, near the UBI Panikauri branch in Jalpaiguri. Our place is C/O Sudhir Ranjan Dhara in the Rajganj area. It’s a quiet, green part of the state, which is perfect for working with tea. We spend our days blending different types of tea leaves together and then putting them into packets for sale. It’s a process that takes a lot of patience because you have to get the mix right every time. The smell of tea is everywhere in our building, which is something you just get used to after a while. We have some basic machines for the packaging, but there is still a lot of manual work involved. Jalpaiguri is a major tea place, so we feel like we are in the right spot for this kind of work. We don't have a big corporate setup with lots of meetings. Our work is very practical and hands-on. We spend our time checking the leaves and making sure the bags are sealed properly so the tea stays fresh for the people who buy it. Sometimes things go wrong with the machines or a delivery is late, and we just deal with it as best as we can. We are just a local business trying to do a regular job with the tea we have. It’s a simple life and we do what we can. We've been here for some years now.
