Rudra Tea Estate

You can find Rudra Tea Estate over at Shefali Sadan. It’s in the Sahara Building, right near the Chirag Gas Agency. It’s a bit of a landmark for us when giving directions to people. The office is usually busy with people coming and going. We have piles of ledgers and samples on the tables. It’s not a showroom or anything, just a place of business. We’ve been working out of this building for a good while. Some days the traffic near the gas agency makes it hard to park, but we manage somehow. We aren’t a big corporation. We’re just local folks who know a lot about tea. Sometimes the air smells like the tea we are sorting through. We start our mornings early, usually with a cup of whatever came in yesterday. The building is okay, nothing fancy. We have a few windows that look out onto the street. You see the same people every day walking by. It’s a routine. We don’t spend much on decorations or stuff like that. We’d rather just focus on the tea shipments. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. My uncle used to work here too before he retired. We just keep things running. It’s a practical setup at Shefali Sadan. We don't need much else to get by. We just try to keep the desk cleared of all the paperwork that piles up every week.
