Quality Tea Plantation

We are located at the Kurti Tea Estate, which falls under the Nagrakata police station area. This is where we live and do all our work. It’s a lot of green space out here, and the air is usually quite fresh compared to the city. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in the processing shed. It’s a lot of physical labor. My boots are almost always muddy because of the rain we get in this part of the country. We don't have a fancy office with carpets or a big sign. Quality Tea Plantation is just a place where tea grows and where we put in the hours to get it ready. Some of the buildings are pretty old and have been patched up many times over the years. We eat our lunch outside under the trees when the weather is nice. It’s a quiet life, mostly just the sound of the wind and the workers talking. We don't really do marketing or anything like that. We just focus on the harvest and making sure the leaves are handled properly before they go out. It’s a long day, starting before the sun is fully up. We have a small crew of people from the local village who help us out. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we don't know much else besides the tea rows. It is hard work but it’s what we do.
