You can find Jalpaiguri Tea Company over in New Milanpally. We are situated right across from the P&T Quarters, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. The Telephone Exchange is also nearby, so it’s not too hard to find us if you’re looking. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which suits the way we work. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It is just a regular workplace where we manage our tea business. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat for a minute. We have a small staff and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. The office is tucked away a bit but we like it that way. It’s not one of those big modern buildings you see in the city. Just a practical space that fits our needs. We have stacks of papers and samples around, as you might expect. Usually, someone is around during the day to answer the phone or handle deliveries. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. It’s a local operation and we take it one day at a time. Nothing too complicated about it. We’ve stayed in New Milanpally because it’s where we started and it still works. Being near the telephone exchange makes it easy to explain our location to people. We just tell them to look for the quarters and they usually find us.
