If you’re looking for us, we’re located over at house number 137 on the Kumar Gram TG Road. It’s right in the Duar Alipurduar area. We go by Dooras Agro Food India (Opc) Private Limited, which sounds a bit official, but it’s really just a small operation run by local people. Swapan Chakroborty is the main person here, and he’s been around this part of Jalpaiguri for a long time. Our work is mostly about food and agriculture, which makes sense given where we are located. Alipurduar is a busy place but we try to keep our business simple and focused on what we know. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most of our work comes from just being part of the community and helping out where we can with agro products. It gets pretty busy during certain times of the year, and sometimes the office feels a bit cramped with all the bags and paperwork, but we manage just fine. We have a few people who help out when things get hectic. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to someone without having to go through a bunch of managers. We just want to do a good job with the food supplies and make sure everything is handled the right way for the people living around here in West Bengal.
