Dinabandhu Tea Factory Llp

Down in Maynaguri, specifically in the Anandanagar area, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. We are a tea factory run by Mukul Roy and Dinabandhu Roy. It’s a straightforward operation. We have a roof over our heads, some big machines, and a lot of floor space for the tea leaves. Jalpaiguri is famous for tea, but people don't always see the grime and the sweat that goes into it. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is even fully up, to get things ready for the day’s intake. The floor is often covered in small bits of broken leaves, and we’re constantly sweeping. It’s humid work, especially in the summer months when the air feels thick. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main work area. We just have our hands and the knowledge passed down about how tea should look and feel. Most of the guys here live nearby, so it’s a very local feel. We talk about the crops, the rain, and the local news while we work. It’s not a polished corporate life. We get dirty, we get tired, but the work is steady. We just keep the factory running, making sure the bags are filled and the leaves are what they should be for a place like Maynaguri. It is just the way we have always done things.
