Murli Bricks

Murli Bricks is based out of Tehsil Degana in Nagaur, right near the railway station. We are also very close to the petrol pump, which makes it a lot easier for folks to find us if they are driving through this part of the country. We spend the bulk of our time out in the yard dealing with the bricks themselves. It is heavy work, no doubt about it, and things can get pretty messy with all the mud, water, and dust flying around. We have been at this specific spot for a good while now. Being so close to the station means there is always the sound of trains passing by, but we have all gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. Most of our business happens right outside in the open air or inside a small tin shed we built. Making bricks is just what we know how to do. It depends heavily on the weather; when the monsoon rains come, almost everything has to stop for a bit. We just wait for the sun to come back out so the bricks can dry the way they are supposed to. It’s a slow and steady process. We have a few local guys who have been working with us since the very first day. We don’t really do any formal advertising or anything like that. Usually, people just see us from the road.
