Deluxe Bricks

Deluxe Bricks is based out in Village Takhtpura, located right near the Bhetala post office in the Siana tehsil. We are also very close to the local Jain Mandir, which serves as a nice landmark for anyone coming to visit us from outside the village. Takhtpura is a peaceful place for the most part. We spend nearly all of our time at the kiln, making sure the fires are staying at the right temperature and the bricks are cooling down correctly. The name "Deluxe" was something we chose many years ago, but in reality, we are just regular people working in the dirt every day. My brothers and I run the whole operation ourselves. We do not have any big dreams of becoming a massive company. We just want to keep the local area supplied with bricks and make a decent living. The road leading to the post office is where we see most of the traffic. People often stop their bikes to say hello or to ask when the next batch of bricks will be ready for pick up. It is a lot of hard physical labor, and our backs are usually aching by the time we head home for dinner. But there is a real sense of satisfaction in seeing a finished stack of solid red bricks. We do not use any high-tech equipment, just the same traditional methods we have used for a long time. It is a simple business here in Siana, and that is how we prefer to keep it.
