Tanmay Polyfilms Pvt. Ltd is located out at Gut No.22, which is part of the Bagdiya Infrastructure Ltd area. It feels a bit out of the way if you are coming from the main city, but it's quiet in its own way. The facility is basically a large shed with a lot of heavy machinery for the polyfilms. The smell of plastic is something you get used to pretty quickly once you walk through the gate and hear the machines running. We have a lot of trucks coming and going, so the yard is always a bit messy with tire tracks and dust. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves talk without shouting. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of decorations or fancy art. We have a calendar on the wall and some old photos of the team from a few years back. The workers here are mostly locals from the surrounding villages, and there is a lot of joking around during the tea breaks. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a roller or a belt, which can be frustrating but it’s just part of the daily routine. We don't have a canteen, so everyone brings their own lunch and we sit wherever there’s a flat surface. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can't hear anything else, but we just keep working.
