Mayur Plastics

Our shop is B-23 inside the Jindal Super Market. It’s a tight space, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of plastic goods into every corner. If you walk into the market, you’ll find us among all the other stalls and shops. It can get pretty crowded in the aisles, especially on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. At Mayur Plastics, we don’t have a lot of room for fluff. We just have stacks of items reaching almost to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s a bit of a puzzle to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. We spend most of the day talking to people who walk by or helping regulars who have been coming to Jindal Super Market for years. The light inside the market isn't the brightest, so we have our own lamps to see what we’re doing. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and moving crates around. We don’t bother with fancy displays or anything. We just put the stuff out where people can see it and hope it’s what they need. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even if our backs are a bit sore by the time we close up the shop in the evening. We like being part of the market atmosphere; there is always something happening or someone new to talk to. We usually grab a tea from the stall next door and keep things moving as best we can.
