Dolphin Plastics

Down here in Dhakephal village, life moves at its own pace. Our place is right in the village, near the post office, so everyone knows where we are. We started Dolphin Plastics because there was a need for these kinds of items around the Ghansawangi taluka. It’s not like the big cities where you have a store on every corner. Here, we know our neighbors and they know us. The workshop is right behind the main room. It can get pretty warm when the machines are running, especially in the middle of the summer. We mostly make things that people use in their homes or out in the fields. It’s honest work. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We use a small truck to get things out to the other villages when needed. The roads out here aren't the best, so it takes a while sometimes. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our reputation in the village. People just drop by when they need something, or they call my mobile. We’ve been at this post for a long time now. The rains sometimes make the yard a bit of a mess, but we manage. It’s just a small family thing, really. We keep the doors open as long as there’s light outside. It’s quiet work, but it keeps us busy and part of the community here in Dhakephal.
