Gyan Mata Vidya Vihar Senior Secondary School sits along Kamta Road in Nanded. It’s a busy enough area, and you can always hear the sounds of the road and the traffic from the classrooms. We handle the older kids here, the ones in senior secondary, so things can get a bit serious during exam times. Most of the day is spent moving from one room to another, checking on how the science labs are doing or seeing if the library is quiet enough for study. We have a lot of students coming from different parts of Nanded, so the gates are always crowded in the morning and afternoon. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces who are still getting used to the Kamta Road traffic. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students put up for their projects. It’s a practical place for education. We focus on the books and making sure the schedule is followed as best as we can. On hot afternoons, the fans are always humming, and we try to keep everyone focused on their work despite the heat. It’s just how life is here at the school. We see the kids come in as young teens and leave ready for whatever is next. It’s steady, everyday work for all of us, and we just keep it moving one day at a time without much fuss.
