Devesh Drip & Agro Plast

Our place, Devesh Drip & Agro Plast, is tucked away in the N Sector at Ss 95/3. If you know where Surekha Agro is, we’re right near there, just behind the Bharat Petroleum Road. It’s a practical location for what we do because we have to move a lot of heavy pipes and irrigation equipment around. We deal mostly with plastic fittings and drip systems that farmers need for their land. It’s not the cleanest work. There’s usually a bit of dust on the shelves and we spend a lot of time in the back moving stock. We aren’t really the type to sit in a fancy office. Most of the time we’re out on the floor checking the inventory or helping someone load up their truck. We’ve got all sorts of valves and tubing stacked up. People come to us when they are setting up their fields and need parts that won’t break after a week. We just sell what works. The road outside can get a bit congested with tankers from the petroleum station, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we count the stock, and we help the people who come by looking for agro supplies. There’s no big secret to it. We just try to keep the right parts in stock so when a farmer needs something, we actually have it on the shelf ready to go.
