Swastik Hair Cutting Saloon

Our shop is at number 16 on Rin Road in Jalgaon. If you look across the street, you can see the Bank of Baroda, which makes it easy for people to find us. We have three chairs, but usually, only two are working at the same time. The mirrors have a few spots on them from years of use, and the floor is always covered in hair by mid-afternoon. We spend most of our day standing up, scissors in hand. It’s a small space, so when the radio is on, you can hear it clearly throughout the whole room. We do haircuts and shaves, and occasionally someone wants their beard trimmed properly. There’s a small bench for people to wait on, and we usually have some old newspapers laying around for them to read. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we have to pull the shade down halfway. We’ve been at this location for a good while and have seen many people grow up. Kids who used to come in with their fathers now bring their own children. We don’t use any expensive products, just the standard stuff that works. It’s a basic saloon for a regular haircut. We like the rhythm of the street and the sound of the traffic outside. It's just a place where you can get a quick trim, a bit of talk, and go on with your day.
