Harshada Hair Cutting Saloon

Harshada Hair Cutting Saloon is located over on Old Nashirabad Road in the Jalgaon Ho area. We have been a part of this local neighborhood for many years now. It is a traditional kind of barber shop where you just come in and wait your turn on the bench while you read the daily newspaper. The shop is not very big at all. We have the old-style heavy chairs and the jars of blue liquid for the combs. I took over the running of the shop from my uncle, and I have kept things looking pretty much the same as they were back then. The walls have some old pictures and there is a small radio that usually plays songs from the local station. We get a lot of older men who have been coming to this spot since they were boys. Now they bring their own grandsons in for their first haircuts. It is nice to see the families coming back year after year. We do simple haircuts and shaves using a straight razor. It takes some time and we do not like to rush the process. The street outside is always busy with scooters and people going to the 425001 market, but inside the shop, things move a bit slower. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles a little, but it keeps the air moving. It is just a plain shop for people who want a haircut.
