Shivgoraksha Weavings is tucked away at Plot No. 06 in Om Shanti Nagar. We’re right here in Chopda, and we’ve been operating out of this spot in Jalgaon for some time now. Our day-to-day is mostly about the weaving process. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the threads come together to make something solid. We aren't a big corporation with multiple branches. It’s just this one location and a handful of us who know how to keep the looms running. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud, but weaving machines have a mind of their own sometimes. We don't use any complicated jargon to describe what we do. We just take orders, do the weaving, and send the stuff out. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several orders come in at once, and the floor space starts to vanish under piles of fabric. We just work our way through it one day at a time. The heat in Maharashtra can be a real pain during the summer, making the work even more tiring, but we’ve got fans and plenty of water. We’re just a local business trying to stay steady and keep the quality decent. No one here is wearing a suit or sitting in a fancy office. We’re usually on our feet, making sure the machines are doing their job properly.
