Patni Computers Ltd is based in Jalgaon, specifically at 215 Shirin Apartments in the Shivajinagar area. This part of Maharashtra is home to us, and we have been operating out of this apartment for a good while. It is a simple setup because you don't really need a big office to fix a computer or figure out a software bug. We are just in a regular building, so it feels more like visiting a friend than going to a business. Most of our day is spent with tools in hand, taking apart laptops or trying to get old desktops to run a bit faster for the local students and workers. Shivajinagar is a decent area and we have a lot of regular people who drop by whenever they have a tech headache. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the machine, find the problem, and try to fix it. If we can't do it, we say so. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just trying to find a specific screw that fell on the floor, but that is just how it goes. The pace in Jalgaon is a bit slower than the big cities, and we like that. It gives us time to actually look at things properly. We are just a small local team doing our best with the hardware people bring us. No drama, just fixing computers as they come.
