Gangotri Engineering Co. is situated at Number 205/- B in Hill Colony, Sonebhadra. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The workshop handles various engineering tasks, mostly fixing parts or doing small-scale manufacturing for local needs. It’s a practical space filled with toolboxes, lathes, and the smell of oil and metal. Hill Colony is a decent place to work, though it gets very quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high. We have a small team of mechanics and technicians who know their way around most machinery. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing brochures to hand out. People usually hear about us through word of mouth when something breaks down and needs a proper fix. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with a lot of old ledgers and technical manuals stacked up. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting problems that others can't figure out. Sometimes it's frustrating when we can't get a specific part quickly, but we usually find a way to make it work. It’s honest, greasy work, and we don’t mind getting our hands dirty every day. The shop floor is stained with years of work, which shows how much we’ve actually done here. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what kind of repairs the day brings. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with it.
