Gurudatta Bakery And Sweets Private Limited

Our shop, Gurudatta Bakery and Sweets, is located right across from Life Care Hospital in Sakegaon Shivar. If you are driving through Bhusawal, you probably see us on Plot 7. We wake up pretty early, usually around four, to get the ovens going. It usually smells like fresh bread around here by six in the morning. We make things like biscuits, cakes, and the local sweets people like for their tea. It is a family thing, really. My brother handles the front counter while the rest of us are in the back working the dough and watching the temperature. It can get quite hot near the ovens during the summer months in Jalgaon, but we are used to it by now. We don't have fancy decorations, just some glass cases for the sweets and shelves for the bread. Sometimes we run out of things before the afternoon, especially on market days when the town is crowded. We try to make enough but it is hard to guess how many people will stop by. We use the recipes we've known for a long time. There isn't any secret to it, just flour, sugar, and staying on your feet all day. We like seeing the regular customers who come in every morning for their pav. It is a simple life and it pays the bills. We just focus on keeping the trays full and making sure the shop stays tidy for the neighbors who live nearby.
