Balraje Weavings Private Limited

Out here in Gorgawale Budruk, things move at their own pace. Balraje Weavings is located in the Chopda taluka of Jalgaon, which is mostly farmland and small shops. We spend our days tucked away here working on the weaving. It’s a small town vibe where everyone knows your business. The air is different here than in the big cities, maybe a bit more quiet until the machines start up. We have been in this spot for some time now. Dealing with cotton and threads is what we do daily. Sometimes the logistics of getting stuff in and out of Jalgaon can be a bit of a headache with the roads, but we manage. Our team is mostly local folks from the surrounding villages who walk or bike over. We don't have any polished reception area or big signs. It’s a practical space. We keep the doors open for the breeze when it’s not too hot. Every morning starts with a quick tea and then we get to the looms. It takes a lot of patience to watch the patterns come together. We try to stay organized, but with so much fabric moving around, it gets messy fast. You’ll find us mostly focused on the work at hand. We don’t really do much else but weave and ship. It’s a decent living and it keeps the community going. We just take it day by day and hope for good weather.
