I’ve been running this DJ setup out of Indera Park in Jalandhar for quite a few years now. The exact spot is in Thakur Market on Mithapur Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always noise and people moving about. We keep all our speakers and lights stored here when we aren't out at a party. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving the gear in and out of the trucks. Sometimes the neighbors probably get a bit tired of us testing the bass, but that’s just part of the job. We do all sorts of events around Jalandhar City. Weddings are the busiest times for us, usually in the winter months when everyone is getting married. It’s not a fancy office. It’s more of a workshop where we fix cables and check the mixers. I’ve got a couple of guys who help me out with the heavy stuff. We don't have a big website or a shiny brochure. Most people just find us by word of mouth or by seeing us at a cousin’s wedding. We just show up, set the stuff up, and make sure the music sounds loud and clear. If the power goes out, we usually have a backup ready. It’s a simple business. We like the energy of the crowd. Every night is different depending on what songs people want to hear. We just try to keep the dance floor full.
