Muziktrax Djs

We’ve been running Muziktrax Djs out of this office at 35-C in Urban Estate for a good while now. It’s in Vasant Bihar, Jalandhar City, right across from the Shiv Mandir. You can usually hear some muffled music coming from inside if we’re testing out a new speaker or checking a playlist. The office in Phase 2 is where we keep all the gear when it’s not out at a party or a wedding. It’s a bit of a maze of cables and heavy boxes in there. Jalandhar is a place where people love a good celebration, so we stay pretty busy most months. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing department. It’s just us, the equipment, and our vans. Most of our work happens late at night, so our mornings at the office are usually a bit slow and quiet. We spend time cleaning the mixers and making sure the lights are working. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying things up and down stairs. Sometimes the neighbors at Urban Estate see us loading the trucks in the middle of the night. We try to be quiet, but those speakers are heavy. The Shiv Mandir is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We just enjoy the music and the fact that our job involves being where the fun is. It’s not always easy, but it beats sitting behind a computer screen all day long in a stuffy room.
