Our shop is located on Pathankot Road, right near the Reru Pind Gate. Most people just call us Viking. We’ve been here for a while, and the gate is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. We do a bit of everything here, mostly related to hardware and tools. The building isn't very new, and the paint is peeling a bit on the sunny side, but it serves its purpose for our daily work. Inside, it’s a bit of a jumble of shelves and boxes. We know where most things are, though it might look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. We get a lot of locals dropping by, as well as people passing through on their way up the road. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. It’s just us, helping folks find the right bolt or tool for whatever they’re working on at home. Sometimes the dust from Pathankot Road blows in when the doors are open, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We don't have any formal uniforms or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy boxes around. It’s a quiet enough existence. We open up early and close when the sun goes down. If you need something, you can just stop by and ask. We’re usually around the back or behind the main counter. It's just a regular local shop where we try to be useful to the neighborhood.
