Vijay Nanda

Vijay Nanda is the name. I work out of Kidney Hosp.& Lifeline Medical Inst. here in Jalandhar City. It’s a specialized place, mostly focusing on what the name says—kidney issues and general medical needs. Being in the 144001 zip code means we are right in the heart of things. The city is always moving, and inside the hospital, it’s the same story. It isn't a quiet life. There are machines beeping and people moving through the hallways at all hours. We have been part of the medical landscape in Jalandhar for quite some time. I don't go in for big speeches or fancy titles. My job is to be here and deal with whatever medical situation walks in. Some days are harder than others. You see people going through tough times with their health, and it reminds you why you got into this. The building itself has seen a lot of history. We have updated parts of it over the years, but it still feels like a local institution. It's a place for healing, plain and simple. No one really likes being in a hospital, but we try to make it manageable. Dealing with kidney problems requires a lot of patience and specific equipment, which we have set up here. I’m usually around the institute if anyone needs me, just doing what needs to be done for the city. It's a lot of work but someone has to do it.
